新加坡副总理兼财政部长黄循财7月4日在国会发言中表示，目前的通货膨胀情况非常不稳定，而且持续时间更长。此外国际形势变化无常可能带来新的震荡，政府会继续密切留意情况，在必要时调整策略和措施，包括加强缓冲通货膨胀压力的援助配套等。新加坡经济明年预计不会陷入衰退或滞胀。
